Your opinion doesn't matter though. You, your team and all it's supporters still live 30 years ago.

Last time Aberdeen were relevant every **** was knocking about in Reebok pumps and The Cosby Show was on the Telly.

No we don't sausage face.

I'm quite content that we are **** and have been for 18 years.

You're the one that seems to get awfully upset for a glory hunting fan.

So why would he lie?

Is it that hard to believe that a group of supporters who have shown their distaste for the British Army would sing this.

Well I haven't been checking out the Brentford forums but I'm sure a number of people that attended will be able to back up this story.

Why would these people lie?

Would prefer to play Celtic again than swindon or Portsmouth , yes loads of drunk lads but the vast majority were all good natured, was in there company most of the day and yes there were irish songs but defo nothing sung about lee rigby. Think this thread should be closed now, far more important things this season to look forward to, don't need us arguing with ourselves .

I didn't hear any Lee Rigby songs. I did hear a brief chorus from a small section of their fans of 'Argentina'. A small number of those on the pitch - 4 or 5 perhaps from what I saw - did goad some of the Brentford supporters and as usual the stewards & police seemed to take a tougher line with the home supporters than the away ones. Most of the Celtic fans I spoke to were pretty good natured, interested in Brentford & oddly insecure about how we felt about playing them. I think a lot of them were disappointed I didn't see it as that big a deal.

The pitch invasion was stupid & obviously going to happen after the small number of individual pitch incursions that happened throughout the game and even harder to stop if you've given two thirds of the ground to the away support. I'd love to know if, after all the costs involved, we broke even on this after all the hoo-ha. Mr. Devlin certainly wasn't having a good day if his post-match demeanour was anything to go by. I do think after this & Portsmouth we might need to review our stewarding arrangements.

Overall I enjoyed the day. Could have done without the pitch invasion

1: Did anyone actually hear any Lee Rigby chants? I'm fairly sure it was a Twitter rumour and a load of bollocks.
2: None at all, all the Celtic fans I spoke we're fine and took an interest in BFC. A couple thought we were great club and like to come back next year!!. They have idiots like all clubs

3:I didn't hear anything either. As I have said it was a cracking atmosphere and an excellent game of football.

That seems to upset people who were not even at the game.

Did you hear the chants about the IRA and Lee Rigby? I haven't spoken to anyone that had. As for the Argentina songs, ffs, grow up, it's a bit of banter. The loons that invaded the pitch were out of their heads after all morning and afternoon drinking. No one showed signs to slit throats or cut off heads as someone commented, they just pranced in front of Braemar with their fists up! As our supporters did in return. With one or two making attempts to have a pop by jumping onto the pitch as well. I didn't see any "brentford lot" trying to have ago outside GP at any celtic fans, maybe they all went home early? A few hundred loons didn't ruin my day. I paid my money knowing we'd be out supported inside GP and probably expected a lot worse.

The football was good. That's what I went to see.

<laugh>

Aye, I'm "beelin"

It's no Glaswegians/Old Firm Teams/The Lord God Almighty's fault that Aberdeen are an utterly pointless team with fair-weather fans who disappeared in droves and never came back.

For **** sake . Why don't you tramps and shaggers of sheep go and fight on your own boards .

Buncha plums <nahnah>

So they did.

That was easy enough.

Case closed.

I never said that either but can I see where this is heading so please consider this case now closed.

"They played a friendly yesterday in England.

They were behaving like animals.

They tried to invade the pitch to attack opposing players & fans.

They were singing about Lee Rigby being murdered
."
