The Cartmel 2.45 tomorrow is one of two Bet365 4-1+ races and I fancy the bang in form Jonjo O'Neill yard to take this with ANOTHER TRUMP @ 7-1. He has four wins to his name all on ground good or firmer. His last winning mark was 102 and his biggest winning mark was 107. Off 98 tomorrow he really does have an obvious chance with the yard in such rude health. You cant have better in the saddle than AP.
The slight negative is that he is a bit of a bleeder. He burst a vessel on his last run so you can put a line through that effort. If he doesn't have a recurrence he should be a good thing and I am sure that he will attract support.
Assuming the win we will need to solve the truly shocking Ayr 5.15 for a bonus bet. I like SAXONETTE at the weights but I also think the jockey booking of Graham Lee for BLACK DOUGLAS could be significant. Good luck if you play.

Morning, comrades. Nothing for me today as I do agree that the racing today is Dire with a capital ‘D’.

End of the old heatwave thankfully today then according to my mole at the Met (Office not ropolitan Police) with potentially floods on the way thereafter. Change of going likely later in the week at many venues therefore, methinks.

Good luck to those who do wager today though.

What is it with all this jump racing around? It s summer time and the jumps should not be on at all ! Ridiculous... Far too much of it.. This is almost as hidious as the all weather flat racing..
 
20.50 Windsor- Bantam- 4/1

Was a well backed favourite in her Handicap debut 3 weeks ago but can forgive her for that race- was not seen to best effect but still ran better than the result suggests and seems to be improving with every run and is fairly unexposed and willing to give her another chance.

Wow ... the money was down but it ran like a 3 legged dog .... they never showed my 25-£5 on the list though .......

A couple of punts at my local track tonight. One a favourite ORBISON 8.20 5-2 can easily follow up a recent C&D success. The other an outsider WIZARD OF AUS 6.50 16-1 who could be a lot better than he showed on his AW debut. The favourites have question marks over them and are well worth taking on.
 
Spencer has just the one ride today at Windsor today on Exotic Isle for Ralph Beckett. He's 2/2 on this one so worth a punt he's not going to pass the evening away.

Interesting but I think Hughes has a good bunch tonight and can see him winning all his races.

Yes, hughsie just landed his 2nd of he night there so I'm hoping he doesn't win the next - that would be 4 favs in a row going in at Windsor with Sticks fav in the 5th. Seems Hughes and Moore split the winners between them at Windsor on Monday nights lately.

Ive got a Yankee on hughes in the hope he takes all 4, his last will be hard though. Got a treble on the 3 shorties so this next one best win!
 
Poor duke to go well plus had r/f with sticks and a very small allways tricast with Orbison for the hell of it looks a right little race
