When I saw the backlash in the press from Manchester I was taken aback at how quick they were to stigmatise Rangers fans, in contrast the behaviour from some Celtic fans at Griffin Park yesterday has received little or no coverage. I am confident had Rangers caused that kind of carnage at a family club there would have been far more press attention.

I might have the wrong end of the stick and I'd just like to finish by saying I do not wish to offend any Rangers or Celtic fan by saying the following and am trying to remain impartial.

Aww what a nice time the bhoys look like they're having.

cheers for the pics xx

Yeah - Manchester and griffin park are comparable!

Riots v a pitch invasion.

cops attacked v fans swinging on cross !

windscreens smashed v fans jumping about in sprinklers.

Same thing! I think ur being a tad ott with the op mate!

The Brentford security guy said the tramps only left the pitch after he turned the sprinklers on and threw them some soap .

As for the OP .

The two scenarios are not comparable . The press in Scotland are equally as bad for both sets of fans . Even the tiniest of misdemeanour is treated with hysterical over reaction .

Yesterday was hardly carnage but then again it wasn't just boisterous good natured fun either. Timmy embarrassing his club is always welcome though .

And not just by the Press it appears.

We had these Celtic ******s down at G.P yesterday. What a bunch of ****ing ****ers. Singing songs in one of the local boozers praising the beheading of Lee Rigby. Scumbags, the lot of them. Don't think Celtic will be getting invited down this way for a long, long time.
