Newbury 3.15 Krypton Factor 9/4

The form is so strong, G1 winner in dubai and 3rd to lethal force at ascot, seems a nice price. Will be playing the double with Lilbourne Lass in the 3.50.

One of my fav horses out tomorrow which has been good to me in the past.sea lord to score in 2.55 at market rasen 5/1

I like that horse ste but I also like Coffee with the champ on board who has been riding so well this week. RFC i think

Newbury tomorrow. If Timeform is worth anything these days we should all be smashing in to Lilbourne Lass at 4/1 PP in the 15.50.

I find those ratings exaggerated in the extreme. Lilbourne Lass really hasn't beaten that much. The toughest race it was in was a four runner race that she got beaten in at Windsor and her conqueror that day was beaten out of sight at Ascot. On the flip side ALUTIQ ran a very encouraging race at Ascot and arguably has better form.

I suppose I'll have to look at the bloody form now.

Right. Admittedly not done my homework fully, but:

Ambiance was beaten 2½L by US crack sprinter No Nay Never (2yo course record) - level terms

Majestic Alexander (receiving 5lbs) was beaten 1½L by Ambiance

Majestic Alexander (receiving 2lbs) was beaten 3¾L by Lilbourne Lass (easily)

I reckon No Nay Never would thrash these.

Lilbourne Lass form pretty good and 4/1 a bargain price

That should **** up its chances

It's Summer Plate time at Market Rasen tomorrow and having had a good look at the card it seems ninety percent of the field will have to put up lifetime best performances to win.
There is good money for the good doctors BOBOWEN and that makes me wary of him. I really the FINGERONTHEPULSE too but McCoy has chosen his stablemate and he the horse has never managed back to back wins. The one that is carrying the burden of my selection though is 20-1 shot KINGS LEGACY 3.30 MR. This ex Paul Nicholls horse has been point to pointing out of owner Alan Hill's yard and tomorrow runs under the banner of his wife Lawney, hardly a change of stable! On his latest effort he weakened close home at the Warwickshire having cruised to the front 1/2 mile from home. This trip shouldn't test his stamina too greatly and he has a featherweight to carry tomorrow. I think his mark of 129 gives him an excellent shout and we know the yard has their runners spot on right now. Looks worth a little EW at the price (Ladbrokes).

In the 3.50 Newbury I can't be having Lilbourne Lass. Going by today's results high drawn horses have come out on top. My e/w selection will be BIOGRAPHY. Hughsie is on board and not on the Fav but last time he was behind Miracle of Medinah who won the Rose Bowl today and second that day was Treaty of Paris who won tonight. From stall 23 I can see Biography in the places.

On phone with limited internet but liking Galician in the 2-05 Newbury tomorrow. 14-1 down in grade and a lot of bets went astray lot. Backed down from 66 to 25 very late on it could well be much better now down in grade

15.30 Market Rasen- Woolcombe Folly- 12/1 e/w

So pleased to see my name sake out again- surely tomorrow is his chance to get off the mark again. Big competitive handicap field and altho is carrying topweight and has gone up 3lbs fromhis last run Harry Derham takes off 5. The step up in distance is a plus the last few races he has looked like he has need that extra furlong or two stayin on strongly - will like the fast ground and if in the same form when third to Hunt ball @ 12/1 is a complete e/w steal price!

I can't ignore the horse that I have been backing for the last couple of Saturdays

ES QUE LOVE

At Sandown 2 weeks ago he very nearly held on to win under a great ride by Christophe Soumillon. At 16/1 I got a good each way return though
Last week and another good jockey booking (Johnny Murtagh) and another narrow defeat.

so to today and he gets the best jockey (Ryan Moore) to steer him home. I think the distance might catch him out but after 2 2nd places I will stick with him to hope that it will be 3rd week lucky! If anyone can get him over that final furlong then it will be Ryan Moore

Looking forward to the two nice jump races at Market Rasen this afternoon and fancy a nice each way double dabble on;

ROMAN FLIGHT 2.55. This horse has improved 10lb on the flat in recent times and is unexposed as a hurdler. 10/1

VIVA COLONIA. 3.30. Brian Ellison runs two here, but I like this one. Won the summer hurdle here on this card two years ago and Noel Fehily a good bookin who knows the horse well from his Charlie Mann days. 20/1
