I'll start my League Comp selections here and copy them over when the comp is up.

14.25 Newmarket - Waila
15.50 Newbury - Lilbourne Lass
16.40 Curragh - Oklahoma City
16.50 Newmarket - Goldream
19.30 Haydock - Archibald Thorburn

yea keep them coming gallop! you must have some strike rate at the moment. your mate in the yard really knows his stuff.

Well done again Gallop. Amazing strike rate. I just wish I had some spare money to have a bet.

SANS LOI 7.55 Nkt 25-1 has had a six week break and I am hoping that is enoughed to have freshened him up for an improved effort at decent odds tonight. Not so far back there is a 2L second to Es Que Love over C&D in his form. A reproduction of that off his current mark would be good enough to be in the shake up here!

I will be at Newmarket tonight and I was going to punt Folk Melody 6.20, seems word is out they like this filly as she has collapsed in price this morning so I will wait to see what price she opens on course, good luck.

Superb shout once again Gallop, thanks for sharing <cheers>

Afternoon all looks better today 6 for me 3 wins first then 3 ew in that order
510 new whitby jet 7/2
520 not mcmonagle 3s
550 not action front 3s
435 new opera box 6s
350 hay wild sauce 12s
530 hay rio cobolo 16s nap (if rio gets the lead at this weight and distance I cant see him being caught fingers crossed)
Good luck all

Did an ew heinz on your selections and returned about 13/8. 5 places (3 2nds) and a loss. Cheers

Newbury tomorrow. If Timeform is worth anything these days we should all be smashing in to Lilbourne Lass at 4/1 PP in the 15.50.

I find those ratings exaggerated in the extreme. Lilbourne Lass really hasn't beaten that much. The toughest race it was in was a four runner race that she got beaten in at Windsor and her conqueror that day was beaten out of sight at Ascot. On the flip side ALUTIQ ran a very encouraging race at Ascot and arguably has better form.

Pulled up over 6 furlongs lol. Definitely one to avoid!

Right. Admittedly not done my homework fully, but:

Ambiance was beaten 2½L by US crack sprinter No Nay Never (2yo course record) - level terms

Majestic Alexander (receiving 5lbs) was beaten 1½L by Ambiance

Majestic Alexander (receiving 2lbs) was beaten 3¾L by Lilbourne Lass (easily)

I reckon No Nay Never would thrash these.

Lilbourne Lass form pretty good and 4/1 a bargain price
