Ah yes, it was a very difficult decision to come and read on here...... Seriously, do you think I am being entirely serious?

Some of you guys are having a laugh at the new United and thats great, I am just joining in the fun.

I'd assumed this isnt one of the boards that can dish it out but simply cant take it back.

I cant think of many teams who are not insulted by being called or compared to Liverpool.

Moyes has a huge task in following SAF. The surprise will be if he manages to be a success.

Presumably he has a one in seven probability of being as good as Neymar!

No chance of a work permit for him surely though

Either that is bullshit journalism or Utd are VERY stupid for being stunned at £70m asking price. What noises coming out of WHL have hinted we'd even accept as low as that? Was it the £100m we quoted to Real?

Who cares about the price? It could be 70, 80?, 100mil who knows?- It's academic. What's more interesting are Bale's own words, which seem to give a pretty strong hint that he's going nowhere.

  8. That's kinda what I've been telling the United board. At the moment, United fans are in deep, deep denial - just like the 'Pool fans were before their club was sold by the bank to those Yanky cheapsakes. But it's coming; the truth will out, and they will have to begin to learn how to live with it.

It's obviously bullshit journalism, Bale doesn't have an asking price because he is "not for sale", meaning we would not accept any amount of money. If we rejected all of Madrid's approaches we're not suddenly going to say to United "Oh Okay you can have him for £70m" <doh>

Denial about what? We are all excited about something new.

We'll win the league this season. We'll win it comfortably if Cesc signs.

Nobody is going to sell a property as hot as Bale, the earning potential for his club is far too great. You cannot put a price on his commercial value in promoting his owning club throughout the world.

It's pointless speculating either way when he hasn't even had a competitive game in charge yet, let alone a season or two. There are worse jobs in football to take on though - with a lot less advantages.

You're laughing but you and me both know how these things pan out.

Tends to end with Uniteds captain lifting the Premier League Trophy in May.

None of you actually think City or Chelsea have improved do you? Chelsea have improved their manager and thats about it. City and the Spanish O'leary have not improved.

No theres plenty of room for improvement.

1 Premier League title could become a PL + FA cup double or even a treble. Plenty of scope for improvement.

The reason United have remained the best side for 20 years? Continuously improving. Even in our worst period 2004-6 we were rebuilding the squad ready to waltz back to the top in style.

Put it this way, Paul Ince would win the league at United.

You must be quite young. I know nothing of the sort the last time you lost such a manager as SAF, a fella called Busby, it took over 20 years to get back to his level. Some coffee smelling to do in the next few years I suspect.

We did things wrong with after Busby. The squad wasnt in the shape it is now and no plans had been put in place. It was a similar story with Liverpool and their fall from grace.

With SAF its different. Hes worked hard to build everything hes done and if you think hes left it in anything but a brilliant position you will be wanting to smell some of that coffee yourself.

Do you seriously think 2013 and 1969 have any similarities? Back then the league champions could be fighting relegation a year or so later. That doesnt happen now.

  20. If you can do that and keep Rooney, I think you'll certainly be in with a big shout.

But I simply cannot see Fabregas wanting to go and play under Moyes.
