WTF? they paid 20m for ordinary striker like Negredo and now 22.5m for Jovetic, 30m for Fernandinho, 15m for Navas.. almost 90m !! take out 10m of Tevez deal .. almost 80m .. they are just taking a pi$$ of FFP
but you know what? City do have some time, I read a month ago, that the same lawyer who introduced bosman law, is challenging FFP, saying there are other ways to punish the clubs and make sure rich owners are committed, from what i read UEFA will need to think twice before banning a club, or they will be liable to biggest payout money if they baned a club if FFP has been turned down by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and i heard it will take up to a year or 2 for the court to make a decision, so my guess is that UEFA will go with some soft punishment till the court decisions .. this is what give clubs like city, Monaco and PSG some hope or at least some more time to put their house on order. and will not be surprised if owners of those 3 clubs are behind that lawsuit

well they were the champions so they were less hungry than us and Mancini seem to lost the squad backing and most importantly we had Sir Alex .. so i think it will be a very different ball game next season .. i expect 3 horse race till the end unless one of the managers screw it

You are right but there's less consistency and less of a team ethic.

Not surprised in the slightest United have performed better in the league but City have performed better in cup competition.

True.

To be honest you could probably have substituted Chelsea for City in those statements at many points over the past seven years. It'll be interesting to see if that changes this season.
 
Who says theres more quality?

I just dont agree. As I said, the names are fancier but thats about it. They have us in midfield but elsewhere its pretty even or we are better. In terms of depth we are a distance ahead. The players beyond Citys first team are poor. Its why we won the league with ease as once a first teamer was injured or banned they had little quality to come in while we had some great players.

All last season i said people confuse squad with first team, if you look at City`s 25 man squad from last season you would have taken at least five other teams squads before them. As you said, beyond the first 11 they were piss poor, they have strengthened the squad so far this window though but the loss of Yaya or Kompany could still cripple them.

you forgot that we lost the league a season before to the same team .. I think city was not as hungry last season, and once they lost in CL, they knew Mancini was a dead man walking
