I don't normally back short priced horses but at 5/2i really think LORD FRANKLIN 330 ham will step up in trip well I went against him at leicester last time out and was very impressed 4 runs at ham have resulted in 2 wins and a third jason hart has got a good record onboard 12 rides 2 wins 2 2nds and 5 thirds the fav is opposable
2:00 Hamilton - Ibecke 5:50 Doncaster - Ryedane 6:20 Epsom - Epsom Salts 9/2 9:00 Doncaster - Zhuba 7/2 Lucky 15 should all be smallish prices And two EW at what should be bigger prices: 3:20 Brighton - Dvinsky 5:10 Leicester - Divertimenti
A very uninspiring days racing tomorrow. I shall be on BURNING DAWN in the hope that the Newmarket effort wasn't her true running. She sports a tongue tie tomorrow so presumably Jamie said she had a breathing issue. Certainly not one to go overboard on. I remember she ran a good debut at 2 and then disappointed, it could be she only goes well fresh. Small stakes win for me more hopeful than confident.
Morning, troops. All about one horse for me today and that’s old boy TELESCOPE at Leicester (3.10). As my regular readers will know I fancied him for the Derby from the day he made his racecourse bow but unfortunately that cruel mistresss, injury, robbed him of his opportunity of Epsom glory. Hopeful, today is the start of his road to the ‘top table’. However, as I’m a humble working man I won’t be getting involved at current quotes 2/5. Masamah raised 7 pounds to 107 after last Saturday’s win by the way. Good luck all.
Up at Doncaster the boys on blue run 2 in the 7.25, one is 11/8 favourite and the other 5/2 2nd favourite. I am told the bookies have it the wrong way around as the 2nd favourite Fulbright is expected to win tonight, good luck.
Who we backed in the golf chaps? I've gone mob handed with a South African assault, Schwartzel, Ooustheuizen (spelling), Sterne and Brandon Grace will top up on the weekend when the big players make their charge.
At Leicester I like the look of Everlasting Light at 13/2 in the 16.10 At Doncaster 18.50 Tinga 3/1 should find this much easier than chasing after Berkshire.
The quality of your info from the boys in blue is quite phenomenal at present Gallop so I will definitely be taking your advice. Your surname is not Gallop Bin Suroor by any chance is it?
I've backed Bushel in that 4.10 race. It was either that or lay the favourite, as Thouwra is beginning to pile up those 2s.
At Hamilton 15.30 I fancy Statutory (beautifully bred) to beat the forecast odds on fav Bomber Thorn. Edit. Oh dear it's odds on. Too skinny.
I have a few I like the look of today. Brighton 2.50 Ridgeway Sapphire 10-3 Not given a determined ride over course and distance last time and yet showed is coming into form, could win this. 3.20 Renoirs Lady 3-1 Won the race Ridgeway sapphire ran in last time, did it well and could easily follow up on a track that she obviously likes. 4.50 Excellent AimTwo horse race in my book with the selection and Johnny Splash, at 9-4 I will take Excellent Aim to just scrape it. Doncaster 6.50 Tinga 5-2 NAP This horse looked to have ability on its first run and did nothing to change that view in a hot race on it's second. I feel the horse can definitely win at this level. It looks like a day for a yankee.
255 killarney pivotal rock 10/1 ladbrokes a certain l. Piggotts grandson claiming 10lbs for tommy stack ew interest!
Street artist looks good in the 4 at ham I tried to get on earlier when the odds were better but I'm not intrested as the odds are to short good luck all
Ibecke in the first at ham, not good last time out but Johnston runners somehow magically improve after their first run so Ill have a little play at 4/1
It's his son Gazboy, from his extra marital affair with his assistant Anna Ludlow. We'll know later whether it was a good mating or not, although no doubt that in time, young James will prove better over a Classic distance
