Looking at everyone's teams they are putting on here, am i the only one who would have a fit Wes Brown before O'shea?

Also, with regards to Meireles, i cant see it happening. It doesnt fit "The Udinese Model".

That is a very tough question mate, one that I struggle to answer myself. TBH I'll go with what Paolo does. Wes is better in the tackle, in the air and with the ball at his feet, JoS is a better organiser, reads the game better and better with his positioning, plus he's a leader on the pitch. They can't play together as neither has pace so we'd get murdered. Tough one mate.

Not for me - N'Diaye on the form he had at the end of last season couldn't be dropped! But I'm not the gaffer!

doubt we'll be in for meireles, he doesn't offer what we need in the middle.

we need a playmaker, foot on the ball, 30 yd pass to feet (or top corner) type. to replace vaughan and i suspect, Catts?

Why would we replace a dm with a playmaker? Surely catts is competition for Cabral and if Catts does go (which I still think is lazy journalism) then a like for like would be brought in to replace Catts. You wouldn't replace a cb with a fullback would you?

For me once Vaughn is gone, if he goes, we need to bring in competition for Alfie (who had to play the wrong roll last season which is why a lot of folk think he's a DM imo)

I think we need another box to box with a good engine, bags of strength and a mean pass to give Alfie some competition in the middle of the park

Thinking more in a Fellaini mould. Someone to sit further back and bring the ball out, someone who covers the whole pitch back and forth. Someone who can control the game.

Don't know mate, I'm not a scout. I did say mate, never asked for fellaini quality. That's just unrealistic. It's a style of midfielder i think would help. Fellaini can't be the only player in the whole wide world who plays in that style. Must be prospects out there.

I've not heard of most of the players we've been linked with or signed, why do you think I could answer your question?

Ah, fair do's sorry to be tetchy. Could we afford of attract Carrick? My knowledge beyond the Prem is very limited. Huddles has it all expect mobility. i'd settle with him but there must be some rough diamonds on the continent.

A top quality left back, (if Spurs buy Benteke will they sell Rose to fund the deal?). Peruzzi(right back) another striker and that's me very happy.

Carrick is well out of our league. I think he was pivotal in them winning the league last season.
