Seriously? How far behind everybody else are they?

The story on Jack Hobbs is fair enough, it only went through this morning. Danny Graham, fair enough. But the Izet Hajrovic bit is weeks old? I thought we'd culled interest on him after he had a poor game when our scouts were there.


For a news outlet that starts pretty much all of its articles with the words "As first reported on CI", it's not exactly good journalism. In fact it's neither good nor journalism. They also said that the national media skimmed over it, yet it was mentioned in a couple of newspapers as well as being broken on Sky Sports News. If they're going to claim to be a breaking news source, the news has to be fresh, not weeks old.

Must do better.

To be fair, they're not trying to be journalists - it's a bloke with a keyboard. And it would be fine if they just admitted they shared stories after reading them elsewhere, what annoys me about CI is they always claim to break a story that we've all already seen. I actually dont know if they're doing it for a joke now, I do hope they are.

If it is a joke it's not funny and it's shelf life expired years ago.
 
They're not journos, they're fans. As much as I despise the forum users on that site, the info is usually good, and I always assume the breaking news thing is firmly tongue in cheek.
 
Breaking news here, we've signed Robbie Brady. This is exclusive to not606 and remember you heard it here first. Sources tell not606 users we signed him on a permanent deal in January.
 
You tend to find a more 'well informed' and old school supporter on CI. As said before, CI is for the husbands, Not606 is for the wives.

You are that caricature of the happy clapper modern fan so despised by the CI lot.
 
I really donyt udnerstand why we have these forum wars. There are very different forums for people who have very different preferences. If you dont like one then the solution is pretty obvious...

For the record I prefer the type of poster on CI but I dont go on there very often and post more on here cos it's busier. Simple as. I dont feel strongly enough either way to avoid one forum or the other.

Same, I couldn't really give a **** about posters on CI or what they say or think.

I just think they feel the need to attack posters on not606 due to their insecurity that we are better fans than them.
 
I love CI and I'm always browsing on there.

I just daren't post anything because I din't think I've earned the right.

I was away serving my country for a great number of years and came home once or twice a year but that's no excuse for missing games.

Maybe in a few years, just maybe.

I did get mentioned on there once.

I dare say I'm held in high esteem and probably revered on CI but for now they'll have to do without me.

If they start a thread and get 80% of the board to agree that they want me I may consider a transfer to CI.

It's in their hands now.
