PNP maybe the blues just look different in the photos then, the potential 3rd kit appears lighter but maybe thats just me. I like the training kit Bale is wearing in the pic. Not too much of the (IMO pretty horrific) green, but enough to add a 'pop' to the shirt and break up the solid blue. A similar shade to the training kit would be nice on a 3rd kit for me, still a blue but far darker than the second kit so no clash.
The shorts would be the same colour as the first kit's though Fro, assuming that the tones are identical to the training kits and not as garish as the leaked pics. We'd have the choice between light blue and dark blue, which seems unlikely to me. I'd expect to see some white shorts made available, at least.
For anyone wanting to take a trip down Memory Lane, I've just finished updating my Spurs Kit History pages... Tottenham Hotspur Home Strips 1882-2014 Tottenham Hotspur Away & Third Strips 1899-2014
When I first started supporting Spurs, yellow was the away strip for some years, 10 maybe. Since then the colour has dwindled off, its been used as a 3rd by Puma a couple of times in recent years, but rarely used then if my memory serves. Same last season, the official blue away was hardly used, we saw the black/silver 3rd more often.
I've dwelt on it all week, and I've finally decided I shall be buying this season's home shirt, my first since 2001/02! Name on the back: SANDRO
Excellent choice, why not be different and have a picture...the one with his shaven head! or this one... please log in to view this image ...am I being helpful?
If you fancy funding a move for a new striker, then why not get his full name? Sandro Raniere Guimarães Cordeiro will set you back a few quid and fill up half the shirt, but it's not too bad for a Brazilian/Portuguese name.
If you can't quite afford that, there's the slightly cheaper option of Jose Paulo Bezerra Maciel Junior.
Excellent choice. I got last year's away, but think I'll spend my Spurs shop money this year on other things. I always like the shirts with nothing but the cockerel. I'll also have to get a novelty gift or three with the aim of getting something sillier than the Spurs pajamas I got Susan last year.
I stopped getting names on shirts when I noticed a pattern - namely the player buggered off at the end of the season. ...and because I don't want a shirt with KHUMALO on the back.
And how come Defoe and Lloris' feet have merged. I'm beginning to think they weren't actually there together at the same time.
like someone said, the apparent 4"+ difference in height between 2 people who are official the same height is kinda a giveaway. It would be good if they had tied Lloris' and Defoe's laces together though, just for a laugh
The weird thing is the logos on Dawsons close aren't noticeably bigger than everyone elses. Maybe he just has better posture than Bale...?
