Coutinho and Bernard are way too similar, we should be looking at Eriksen. The price is also way too steep, we could get Eriksen and a CB for that money.
Faster Bernard is; he could play on the wing. We need options from the bench, at any rate. Have both, I would.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...t-Krisztian-Adorjan-to-join-Groningen-on-loan this is a big one. he is decent but lightweight and plateaued in the u21s. he needs this to go on to be a pro footballer "properly" I think he's good but badly needs 100 games under his belt to be able to step up.... Alex K proved that guys who don;t look necessarally good enough can really benefit form being given a go. If rodgers is behind this "change" and it really is a change where good youths are being driven on not driven out then i say thank GOD! finally we are showing some sense. Ibe and sterling in the seniors and others who need the experience to push past a downing or such get a lift by he club building good links with clubs really known for postive youth development. I've also no issue with selling a few of them on after loans either cos the conveyor can't be allowed to stall if we want more kids to come through
the mirror... gog... Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants to make a hat-trick of signings, with the Reds targeting midfielder Christian Eriksen, 21, and 24-year-old centre-back Toby Alderweireld of Ajax as well as Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand, 23. Full story: Sunday Mirror the first two would be standard fodder for us to ruminate over and love but to add in something that patently is never going to happen in bertand?
what about this one guys.. Gary White is one of the world's 16 highest qualified football coaches - but he cannot get a job in England. Full story: Sunday People the worlds 16 highest qualified? how is that measure? but some english guy is that qualified and NOT working for the FA? should we just take a look at him?
No idea what that means to be quite honest - maybe he is just crap but knows a lot! Edit: actually wouldn't you get more qualified by applying your skills in a job like this and not just learning? Very confused
I think having read it it seems to me he's trying too hard to be a manager and not just a coach. if he's an elite level uefa coach he ought to be trying to get a weeks invite to an academy and working up there... not guam in the apcific. j league next then who knows... some **** hole in the middle east? seems over ambitious and unwilling to accept a coach at junior levels.
Surely any job within football would be a stepping stone? However, I'd say qualifications are only so much. For example, I bet there are millions of people with more swimming badges than Phelps. A person can do the paperwork but putting it into practice is a different matter. Especially the things that these courses do not teach such as player judgement.
I'd say phelps has a few badges. the thing is the law in real countries is you must have your badges before you get a job.. in this place lads like shearer can swan in then f off to be a pundit when he relegates a side. example is platt who was basically run out of italy cos he was given a job without badges and the whole place closed ranks on him.... the "fine" job he did with city just goes to show
yeah but put it all together and it says the author has no clue and just filled column inches with drivel. roll on the tour... i fancy nobodys coming til its over.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...ool-transfers-pedro-chirivella-agrees-2053517 Anyone heard of him? Another one for the Academy I guess.
Nope - love what we're trying to do though, genuinely believe we are doing what we have to do to compete in the years to come without billions to burn.
