Love Boycott's reaction. Reminds me of Rob Andrew when England won the rugby world cup.:)

He has previous. Reminded me of this...

Heh, Al-Fayed never quite achieved that ambition of making Fulham the Manchester United of the south did he? I wonder what this means for the Michael Jackson statue?

Sean Ervine seriously needs to be dropped by Hants...he is a liability at the moment....Hants still needing 17 off 17 balls...:emoticon-0107-sweat

There's no question that he's going through a bad spell with the bat, but there is simply no-one to realistically replace him with. Deciding against offering a t20 contract to Maxwell, or asking Bailey back (or Katich, at the end of last season) has really tied our hands.

Ervine will come good again, I'm sure. But it's not easy in t20.

That game ended up much, much tighter than it should have been. That was never a 120 pitch!

Back to the cricket. Pleased to see that the Aussies are saying that you take the umpire's decision. They didn't have a go at Broad at the time, but only complained to the Umpire. They know that just round the corner one of them will do just the same. You have to accept the umpires' bad decisions if they say you are out...so why not when it's in your favour. The fact that you have to be honest about catches is the anachronism, but presumably that's because in the past (without replays) the umpire often had no view of it and had to rely on your word.

Maybe not, this time. The fire isn't consistent with the locations of the batteries they've had trouble with. It looks like it happened in the rear galley, which suggests somebody left the oven on.

I reckon another 20 - 30 runs and we will be safe.

Even now it would have to be just about the highest ever 4th innings chase at Trent Bridge. Setting them over 300 would be nice psychologically.

Good but not surprising that the Aussies didn't complain too much about the Broad thing. The media might suggest he should walk but in reality very few players do and it would have been quite hypocritical for the Australians to suggest Broad should.
