Would be happy to get him, but no chance United would sell him to Chelsea.

He's at the biggest club in the country and should stay put

I think Moyes might get him performing again IF he stays. You are right though, United won't sell him to Chelsea if he is determined to leave.

Really? The amount he would cost in wages and tranfer fee could get 2-3 players, each one miles better than him.

We can do better than Rooney.
Dont' understand the antagonism for Moyes, hes a good manager who took a very good job offer, whats wrong with that ?.

I'd take Rooney without second thought, however we should still TRY and go all out for Lewandowski

This is a completely different ball game for Moyes now. He's already way out of his comfort zone. He really has inherited a mess, IMO.

The pool of talent for top players is getting smaller and United's best players are the wrong side of 30. There is no way Welbeck, Cleverley, Anderson, Buttner, Jonny Evans & Phil Jones are good enough to replace Scholes, Giggs, Ferdinand, RVP etc. Now he's got Rooney rocking the boat and if he doesn't win anything soon others will follow.

Massive rebuilding job. Unlike Moyes, Jose has a head start because he knows the culture of the club and knew he was taking the job from January so had yonks to prepare.

With our young squad and for the reasons you've named I think City may be the team to beat this year. In a couple of years though I have no doubt we''ll be riding high.

100%. People have laughed and mocked us for long and preached about how we should be "more like United" but very soon the tables will turn. Chelsea and City were always going to come out on top eventually, Fergie simply delayed the inevitable.

Don't be too confident, i think Spurs and Arsenal wanna ruin the party. Think its safe to say next season is looking as it could be the best yet and i can't wait for it to get started. Don't forget before last season Chelsea and City were men't to be the teams to beat and United finished on top. If City all Chelsea had won the league you can bet all we would have heard was how good they were, Just like the the hype about City when they won it on goal difference. But because United won it all we heard was how it was a poor season

I think year in year out the demise of United has been predicted (and wished) by rival fans but has not materialised. Chelsea will be competing with arsenal and spurs as usual. The element of surprise Mourinho had the last time round will not be there this season.

There wont be a United 'demise' as such but they have won what 5 of the last 7 titles? Bet they don't win 5 of the next 7.
