He used to be a Legia ultra, or something like that.

Ooooo you can see my work building in the background. How marginally exciting for me.

Hard to imagine a setup that would better showcase his talents. We place a hell of a lot of responsibility on the shoulders of our DMs...if he's as good as many of us believe him to be, he'll have the opportunity to put his talents to full effect.

If Osvaldo comes here I really do worry he will go into a massive, massive sulk of Odemwingie proportions.

At least Harry will be happy when he drives to QPR training ground

He wouldn't do that at all. He's more likely to have a fight with Boruc.

Boruc laughing at him half way through and walking off for a pint?

...while Osvaldo bleeds from no fewer than three open head wounds.

Banega must be going relatively cheap because of his off field reputation. Valencia may feel the hassle of dealing with him outweighs the benefits of his ability, particularly if the rumour about him turning up to training drunk is true. While his drinking may not affect his performances now, lifestyle can have a serious cumulative effect on a player's fitness and may shorten a player's career - Le Tiss could certainly have played longer if he'd taken more care of himself. A personality comparison with Boruc may be fair but fitness isn't anywhere near as important for a goalkeeper as it is for a midfielder.

Le Tissier played as long as he did, because he conserved energy during games :)

Valencia's also perpetually on the brink of bankruptcy, which doesn't help their negotiating position.

    .
Well according to a few articles Valencia have offered him a new contract but he hasn't accepted yet. So that would rule them not wanting him out if true. I think it's merely Valencia are skint as hell.

I thought Valencia's finances had stabilised to some extent? I also phrased my post slightly poorly, I don't mean they desperately want to get rid of Banega, more that the off field stuff may mean they're not as desperately keen to hold onto him as they might otherwise be.

Fair enough. Although being utterly screwed financially didn't stop them getting big money for the two Davids.
