Surely we must have identified some players that could have been brought in early to boost our depleted squad? What about these out of contract players for crying out loud. Far too early, to find the quality we need, but then again, Brucie, please dont do a monkeyheed, and buy a tore andre flop, IE, Robbie Keane. he was too good for us years ago, ,,now WE are too good for him.
In regards to a couple of the freebies I hope we aren't taking someone on there word and delaying getting ink on paper before they come back off there holidays because we could end up with egg on our faces. Ill be very dissapointed if we aren't doing everything we can to get seb larsson here
It's hard for us all waiting for players to sign to boost the squad that we the fans, the players, the management, the owner and the chairman have all acknowledged is too thin for next season. It's obvious we will be making a load of signings at some point over the summer. What I don't understand is - NQ says we won't be making them till later in the summer, yet when the window is closed, all he harps on about is 'value' and making good business decisions for the club, and that clubs get held to ransom at the end of transfer windows... ...SO GET SOME GOOD FREE PLAYERS NOWWWWWW!!! I'm not impatient simply because im bored of close season. I'm impatient because I hate seeing us miss out on quality OR value, only to get players on exaggerated fees who aren't a massive step up. Here's our chance to get players like Seb, Vaughan, Bothroyd who fair enough, might not be any better than Catts, Sess, Hendo, Colback- but they are FREE so they'll at least boost our numbers so we don't have to change formations every time someone twists an ankle. And the reason people queue up outside shops at stupid oclock in the morning on sale days is because the best cheap stuff goes quick- let's not sit around and watch Dann, Johnson, Ridgewell, DJ Campbell, Phillips, Tomkins, Noble, Ba and whoever else go on the cheap, only for us to pay more for equivalent players later! GO QUINNY GO! We have faith in you!
