If Henman ever won Wimbledon (big if!) and there were England flags being waved around then Salmond would complain, yet it's OK for him to wave his Scottish flag around. Hypocritical twat.

Don't like Salmond, but don't really see him complaining about England flags under those circumstances. The LTA (mainly English funded) supported Murray when he started out, though of course so did his family. Murray made a nice reference to Britain winning the Wimbledon title, so, although I'm sure he's a proud Scot, he knows he was supported by all the home nations.

Absolutely Fran. He will always be a British winner now, and has lost the Scottish loser label forever.

I think what annoys me is the fact that he's using a British accomplishment and celebrating it as a solely Scottish one and to enhance his political ambitions.

Actually the LTA did nothing for Andy Murray. Seriously, they didn't back him enough and that's why he left to go to Spain when he was in his teens - that was the only way he could ever get to the top.

The LTA were paying for Murray's coach long after he started winning serious money. The problem wasn't the monetary support, but the fact that at a very young age Murray knew that he needed coaching that was available in Spain.

Anyone watching Top Gear? Clarkson says he's driving that Ferrari in Hertfordshire, but I can say with quite some certainty that he is not.

Bend it Like Beckham, great football film or greatest football film? I vote for the latter (with She's the Man in second place)

Well, that was superb. Family get together for grandmother's birthday, as Murray closed in we were all huddled around the TV.

I watched the whole thing with my aunt and uncles, was waaaayy too hot to sit outside.

Everyone rushed in when he closed in on Championship point. Amazing.

Yep, and the insects are out in full force. There's a nest of bumblebees outside my bedroom window.

The original hangover is horrendously overrated also.

Yeah I didn't even like the first. I was told that Hangover 2 is the first one but on different sets so didn't bother.

    Pretty much is.

I liked the third one because it took a slightly different direction, but as a comedy it wasn't great.
