Cardiff play decent football. More than happy for them to replace a team like stoke

Well thank you very much for your comment. Actually, we're hoping to replace Swansea.......<laugh>

BTW, a second tier on the Ninian stand side this year will give us an extra 5,000 seats by the start of next season. That should get us up to your St Mary's capacity of around 32,000.

Vince has outlined second tiers to the Canton and Family stands at either end of the ground for 2015 that'll add a further estimated 8,000 to bring us to around the 40,000 mark.

All very nice and a credit to the owner and the club - I just hope we stay up there and can fill it.

Any plans in the pipeline at your gaff?

There are frequently referenced plans in place to upgrade to 50,000 or so but I think serious progress would have to be made for our chairman to pull the trigger on that.

How many were you packing in last season anyway?

No offence, I live in Cardiff so have a soft spot for the bluebirds, but that sounds too good to be true!

Official capacity is about 26,800 at the moment, but with segregation we fill the ground at just over 26,000. We did that and sold out a few times last season, but some poor travelling support from other Championship clubs dropped the average down to around the 24,000 mark - home allocation was frequently sold out.

We've already sold out the 20,000 season ticket that the club limited it to for next season, and the away allocations in the Prem means there's only about 3,000 tickets available for walk up Cardiff supporters on the day - it's going to be chaos getting a seat next season for non ST holders.

Plans ready for submission for the first 5,000 and up for approval in September. If it gets the go-ahead as it should, the work will start during this coming season (don't ask me how they'll do it with games going on <doh>).

There is already exististing planning consent at the stadium for a 60,000 seater from the initial CCS submission, so future expansion will not be hindered by red tape.

I like Cardiff, a lot like us last season. For what it's worth I think you will stay up relatively comfortable, though as ever it will be tense at times. Wanyama though, would be a huge coup for you lot. He would IMO make you a certaincy to stay up.

Here's hoping we seal the deal before anyone else shows interest!
