During the 2005 Ashes, if my memory serves me right. Orchestrated by Shane Warne, obviously.

I thought Warne was involved bit couldn't remember the details.

I wonder what Janowicz's record in five setters is like? Murray is incredibly fit so that may weigh in his favour.

EDIT: Murray breaks. It may well not get that far

I still fondly remember a First Class game which was headed to a boring draw (I think with Kent), where Warne got bored so started bowling everyone on the team. If I remember correctly, Pothas was bowling with his pads on, Chris Benham was bowling left handed and Warne himself was bowling underarm.

We've already had one first class game this season where we bowled nine of the eleven guys, such was the draw nailed on. Felt sorry for Bates that Jimmy didn't throw him the ball. Carberry did impersonations with his bowling.

I remember Alec Stewart bowling in a dead test against the West Indies in the mid-90s. Might have been when Lara got 375. I swear he was somehow no-balled (or at least warned) for bowling too many bouncers and celebrated like he'd scored a century!

We only have this year's and next year's Wimbledon before the Scottish Independence referendum. We may not have many more chances of winning Wimbledon for the foreseeable future!

Ervine was determined to throw his wicket away....<grr>

As he tries to do in all of our tight run chases.

Thankfully Dawson's limited overs batting has improved massively this season - but I'm still very, very nervous.

Great performance by Murray. His service games were brilliant....he struggled in previous matches, but knew he had to win his service games easily in order to undermine the confidence of his opponent. Most big servers are prone to double faults, so he was always going to get more chances to break than Janowicz. Murray has a winning mentality...doesn't fold in adversity like so many British players. Odds must favour Novac on Sunday, but you never know.

If it goes to 5 sets I'd back Murray, he is such a smart 'match player' and adapts to the match circumstances.
