Can someone enlighten me as to WHAT a stovie is? I'm not sure. Is it like a stew or a casserole? which I'm not sure what the difference is.. It looked like a bowl of scouse. which looks like a stew or a casserole. Lest we forget a hotpot. which is not too dissimilar to a pie. yet the contents of a pie are stew like.
