    Well I'm ****ed then.

I'd like to think I wouldn't be pathetic enough to have massive arguments escalating from the smallest things.

Have you never lived with roommates you didn't know before? There were plenty of arguments in my halls first year of uni. It's not about being pathetic, it's that if you live with people all the time, you're gonna clash over little things.

What the **** is it with women and medical programmes? My Sky recorder has 12 episodes of 24hrs in A and E, 6 episodes of what he NHS does for us and 10 episodes of One Born Every Minute.

Yeah, I have, but there weren't really any arguments strangely, and I guess if they were, they'd be resolved quickly. Not like this stupid place.

Blimey, they're not kidding around, are they. They definitely want to leave the Ricoh Stadium then. And they were offered it rent free for the coming season, too. So the present owners now have a sky blue elephant.

Well, you should write honestly about the positives, and not mention any negatives.

There's a difference between being 'economical with the truth' and outright lying. Don't create false positives.

Yep. Don't say you are OCD tidy if you are not, will only piss off people if it turns out to be untrue.

Just think about what you'd want to have in a roommate. Tidy, quiet, but not a complete bore.

You're friendly, you clean up after yourself, you can comfortably talk things out and compromise with people rather than putting bitchy notes on the fridge.

Don't lie about messiness, a penchant for tinnitus inducing loud music, or any other less sociable traits if you have them, always best to be open.

Sweet Jesus, that is the worst thing ever. We had a German girl moved into our house of 5 seriously blokey blokes by a misguided letting agent. She loved a note on the fridge until she evicted herself after 4 weeks.

My ex left them post it notes on the fridge leaving me messages every morning, It got annoying as hell. When we split I was tempted to leave one on her suitcase. <laugh>

I'd actually prefer notes on the fridge. There was a girl we lived with who would aggressively knock on everyone's door to confront them if someone left an unwashed plate by the sink.

I'd want a roommate who is a geek and we can geek out together, D&D, trading cards, pokemon, anime, video games, cosplay..... If female as well (and single!) that'd be even better!
