I've said several times how good Cork is, and I'm surprised Premier League teams aren't after him. Under a million would be a bargain as well.
I hope this isn't just Rumours: http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.u..._accept_bids_for_Burnley_target_Cork/?ref=rss
Can we sticky this, please? Another thread on Cork has gone up and I can't help but feel if this was sticky at the top of the page, it'd stop loads of little ones coming up.
Putting a sticky on it would make no difference this post was just underneath the rumours one. Will merge them when I get a minute.
£750k is very reasonable indeed for a player of Jack Cork's age and quality. I really hope we can tie this up quickly before everyone wants a piece of him!
Cork is quality and would be a great signing. I also feel the Brendan Rodgers connection and Premier League footy would see him go to Swansea if they are interested. Fingers crossed we can get him. Billy Sharp would be interesting, though I really like the look of Danny Graham at Watford (though he has sadi Premier League or nowhere)
The article mentions Swansea as "interested" as well as Leeds, so they haven't made an offer yet. Hopefully Jack agrees personal terms swiftly and we can tie up the deal. He's down at St Mary's on Saturday, what better time to make it happen than then. Get your persuasive swag on Messus Cortese and Adkins.
If we don't get Cork I'd like to see a CM join anyway - question marks over how well Deano will do in NPC, and just ask a Preston fan about Chaplow (though granted, he was good for the 15ish games we had him in the Championship a few years back)
If he can play 2 positions thats great especially cm and cb two of positions we've all highlighted as needing to be strengthened, however if he is signed I think we will need to sign another cb and cm as well because if Cork gets injured we will lose cover for two positions, its a double pronged sword in every sense!
Rohan ricketts thread what happened to that? The guy is a hero maybe if not for his sporting achievements
Great pic. Always looks like a 9-yr-old in his first kit, but seriously any news on Stephens? Didn't set the world alight, but strangely there's something about him. Just needs the right manager and, boy, do we have the right manager.
So who would you prefer Dale Stephens or Cork. Incidentally is he by any chance a relative of our very own Cork at Hampshire cricket?
