I'd quite forgotten the formal introduction of RvW. I was thinking "transfer window now open, new signing imminent". Damn my prolificacy <laugh>
 
Could be a red herring then and just a conference for RvW. They might not want to distract from our record signing by announcing another signing too
 
God, what a state people are getting into! Big surprise -- a July 1st press conference for RvW, who has been ours since January but couldn't be registered as our player until today. What would everybody on here be posting if there hadn't been a press conference: Is he being sold without playing for us? Club X, Y and Z have come in with a big bid and unsettled him. He's spoken to CH and realised he is going to be asked to play in the back four, etc. etc. For heaven's sake guys! <ok>

People being excited about the unveiling of our new marquee signing with the potential of some extra signings or news

Robbie, i don't think anyone here is being over the top, if you want to see that, go to the pink un message board.
most of us here are just happy to have something to comment on and discuss, and a bit of speculation here and there.

Four years ago it was Matt Gill and Owain Tudur Whatsit, can't blame people for being excited about where we are now.

If you go back four years, you will see that people were actually reacting much the same way then about signing OTJ! "Promising Welsh under-21 international" etc etc. Which is precisely my point. What happens is people get over-excited, then end up disappointed with a feeling they've been let down. <ok>
