Summer Transfers Mega-Thread

The thought of having Toivonen, Wes, Redmond, Snodgrass, Wolfswinkel, Hooper, Holt and Pilkington as our attacking options next year is pretty crazy. I can honestly see it turning out that way when the start of the season comes.

 

I have to admit I am a bit disapointed. I thought when I logged on this morning there would be a picture of Neymar/Messi/Ronaldo holding a Norwich shirt. What the hell is McNally playing at!!!!!

 

It'll be Redmond, Garrido and Wolf Shop...that'll do for starters

 

Interesting development on the Toivonen story, PSV have signed Adam Maher from A Z Alkmaar?

Seems to indicate Ola T is leaving, but where will he end up plying his trade?

I thought he was leaving anyhow cromer, or at least was saying he wasn't going to sign a new contract so psv said he would play for the reserves next season

come on it's 9:30, why no signings?

 

Can't help but think an anti-climax is around the corner. Fact is I've supported City for so many years my glass is still 'half empty'

Norwich City are close to agreeing a deal to sign Gary Hooper #NCFC

 

Also hull have dropped their interest in Hooper, this is all lining up for one club and Celtic won't get there bidding war!

 

Being cautious now, I still wonder whether City would sign both Toivonen and Hooper, given that the former can play as either AM or striker.

 

More attacking options is always a plus and I think Toivonen is going to be played more in the midfield. We could have a combination of RvW, Hooper or Holt up front with the likes of Toivenen, Wes Snods and Pilkington in the midfield, I'd say our creativity and potency up front will be far better next season. You have to wonder how we'll fit all these players into a team though!?

 

Here is my idea for an incredibly unlikely formation next season:

Ruddy

Martin - Bassong - Turner

Johnson -Fer

Snodgrass - Pilkington/Redmond

Toivonen/Wes

RvW - Hooper

 

Would be good but surely we will miss out on atleast one.

2.5mil for Redmond would be an absolute steal when you compare to the sort of money Blackpool want for Ince and even Matt Phillips

 

This sounds interesting - despite saying absolutely zilch!
