She considers herself British, so that settles it. She played tennis for GB in the Olympics, so she obviously qualifies as British. Remember you can claim your grandparents nationality.

You can claim anything you want. After all, the German Saxe-Coburg Royal Family claimed the British throne. They even changed their name to Windsor to make it appear more acceptable. Not that I give a... :)

Good for Flora, I say. Thought she was done and dusted. Obviously riding for Yamaha.

Nope. I did play Sensible Trainspotting on the Amiga though. Actually about Trainspotting though, not the film. I believe it was a game that came with a copy of Amiga Power.

A game about trainspotting? The mind boggles, how does that work?

I used to be a bit of a train spotter, there were lift books for different classes of train with lists of numbers which you'd cross off as you saw them. 'Twas a bit geeky.

:( I like Joe. Thought he was a sensible lad. Obviously just owning a gun doesn't make you a ****** but fleeing from the police at midnight..?

My eldest brother has an air pistol, like a Luger. We all decry the fact that he has one, but he says he needs it just in case someone breaks in. The other day he produced this unnecessary thing and handed it to me to feel the weight. I asked if it was empty and he said yes. So I broke it to charge up the pressure, and clipped it back up, then discharged it into his carpet. Out flew a fragment at warp speed. Consternation..! Mistakes can happen. If you don't have a gun, even an air-pistol, you can't make the mistake.

For intruders, get a Louisville Slugger or a golf driver. They may not kill or maim, but the intruder will never want to take up those sports after being hit by either.

Thing with NFL players is they're all very wealthy making them easy targets for muggings, especially with a lot of them coming from hard backgrounds, like the guy in question, Joe Lefeged, so in the offseason as it is now, when you're back home, you return to these rough neighbourhoods and as such may feel like you need protection - a gun is the easiest and best form of protection in the States (especially when potential assailants will likely have them too), but why have an unregistered one..? I dunno. Obviously I don't know Lefeged on a personal level, but I know his character as much as we all know the character of Southampton players - not a lot, we don't know them, but we've got an idea. As such I'm hopeful Joe had nothing malicious going on and it'll all be cleared up peacefully... but who knows.

You pretty much crossed off numbers as you saw the train, against a time limit. I don't remember spending too much time playing it, but it was fun which is no suprise as it was a Sensible Software game.

BTW, I'm still on Cloud 9 after watching Valentino Rossi win today. He is such an ambassador for the sport. Watched the entire repeat from today on iPlayer again. The Beeb have fooked it again by titling it as the Moto2 and Moto3 races, but it's actually the Moto2 and MotoGP races. Maybe they'll care enough to change it. I doubt it. Thank goodness I saw the Moto3 race earlier live, because we'll probably never get a chance to see that again.

Never thought I say this but the sooner BT Sport get MotoGP the better.

It was the driver that was underweight, not the car, it was the combined weight that was wrong, sounds like they have some dodgy scales there.

Blimey. Did'nt know that .

BBC saying he was underweight , but when checked later was OK , and the car was underweight . either way a shame for him .

Doncaster have lost their appeal against the FA's unfair relegation relegation of them in favour of Manchester City. The FA are a complete and utter disgrace. Bunch of ****in dinosaurs need to get the **** out before they ruin football in this country. They've already done a good job of severely damaging women's football. I hope everyone boycotts Man City's games next year.

Safety car out now, if they lose another one or don't get answers I reckon it could be a race termination.

Probably should be...thus far it's been lucky enough that the explosions have happened in situations where the drivers had a chance to react. A tire blows under braking and this could get very dangerous.
