I remember being mildly excited when we signed Federico Arias but that deal made De Ridder look like good business. God we used to sign some ****e.

You SERIOUSLY don't think he gets kicked to bits when he plays in Brazil?... The Stoke defence wouldn't get near him.

No excuse unfortunately, just that it's planned to be similar to the Lovren deal in the Friday night thing. Seems to have conveniently forgotten that the kit unveiling was when we were unveiling a signing!

it's friday, always a good day for a signing. keep f5ing the official site until you pass out at your desk.

if it doesn't happen you can be sure it's just been delayed until monday morning.

I like his style: making something up, and actually setting a deadline for when everyone's going to realise he was bullshitting. Living on the edge.

My sources are saying that we're doing a themed thing: the 26 Days of Saintsmas. We'll be signing a player each day, one for every letter A through Z; hearing Astori signs tomorrow, Banega the day after, and so on all the way to Simone Zaza on the final evening.
