<laugh> wrong jesus.

Will united offer Ronaldo 250k after tax per week?

like **** we will.

It will happen like this. High basic from United ( £180k pre tax ), 100% image rights ( CR7 & CR9 brands, 60/40 split in Madrids favour atm, worth and extra £20million a year to him at United ) and a large signing on fee ( paid for in part by Nike ).

My guess anyway.

His image rights will also go up naturally as we're sponsored by Nike who are the same company to sponsor Ronaldo. So he'll earn more from wearing Nike kit and not having to wear Adidas kit when playing for Real.

Madrid will offer him 250k a week after tax, so 500k a week, he has plenty of cash so maybe he won't even pay the 50% Spanish tax with some creative accounting so probably more than 250k pw, as for image rights, the guy makes a fortune from his image anyways, he doesn't need help from United or Nike with that.

Besides, I am thinking you think Ronaldo see's United as you do, he probably doesn't. He saw United as a step in the ladder to Madrid. I think at the very least you will need to land some top drawer players in order to land Ronaldo tbh, but that's just guessing on my part.

money talks though, that's the truth. It would be funny if he went to Monaco<laugh>

Sorry mate, but you're just plucking numbers and assumption out of thin air without even the Fail to back you up.

Reports are Ronaldo will be offered around £300k a week wages from Madrid, plus another £300k from image rights. Minus the 52% Spanish tax (which he wouldn't be able to dodge unless he wanted to end up like Messi <yikes>) he'd end up on just under £300k a week net.

Utd probably wouldn't match his basic salary, but the extra image rights by virtue of being a Nike athlete playing for a club sponsored by Nike, combined with the top UK rate of tax of just 45%, would mean his net pay wouldn't be too far off. £180k basic wage plus £400k a week from image rights with the lower tax rate in the UK and the money's not too far off.

People keep saying Monaco like they're a realistic destination.

Ronald o wants a champions league winners medal or at least to be able to play in the champions league.

Monaco cannot offer this.

Any more news on the debate within French football as whether to allow Monaco to even feature in Ligue 1 next season due to the argument over wages, taxes etc etc?

Why the **** would Man Utd ever be running scared of Chelsea <doh>

Chelsea are a little chav club who have only been getting noticed the last 10-15 years, even Sunderland have more league titles than them lot! <laugh>

I'm just waffling Swarbs, you put too much stock in your internought skills, I seen BBT hand you your arse on this financial stuff re United on the exchange and you resorted to "your mom" style retorts in the end<laugh>

I never pretended to be that into the money side. I am just guessing here, made that clear in an earlier post<ok> Bad guesses no doubt<laugh>

And then you woke up and realised you needed to change your pants <ok>

Seriously, who is this BBT you keep bigging up?

If he does move it's to United or PSG, I think he'll stay though.

agreed, i think and i hope he will return back to united but it won't be this summer because even if he does want to leave, i can't see Real Madrid selling Ronaldo this summer.

i think and i hope he does return to united one day though.

He won't go psg.

Another no Mark club that will only interest mercs and not footballers.

The guy wants to be considered one of the greats. That leaves all of 4 clubs he can join. He's at one, unlikely to sign for Bayern or barcelona and that leaves United.

If he leaves this year or next it's to United. Maybe in 5 years he might end up at anzhi.
