I know Rodgers said he wanted to two players for each position but I still feel that Reina is leaving this season as a result.

Also, Barrett has said that LFC are still confident of landing Henri Ryan but BR is planning an audacious swoop for Barca's Gerard Deulofeu ...

That will be Henri Ryan - if Suarez does leave, I expect another big signing.

Now that Ancelotti has joined Real, we can expect them to be a bit more proactive in their dealings now.
 
doesn't matter how pro active they are if they don't offer what we want for Luis.

guessing you mean wont piss about as much hopefully, don't want this to drag, they either want him and pay what we want for him or look elsewhere.

that deulofue would be a good signing, don't see it happening though as he is the next big thing in Spain isnt he, so they wont want him going.

Yeah, I meant that hopefully we'll now see how genuine their interest is in him.

Gerard Deulofeu would be a remarkable signing and not completely unreasonable - the lad wants to play football and is quoted to have said that if he were to leave Barca, it would be to a team that favours a passing style. In addition, he played with Luis Alberto at Barca B which can only work in our favour.

Thiago is another top prospect but he is likely to leave as well because of the lack of first team opportunities, despite being highly regarded and touted as the 'King of the Barca midfield' once Xavi retires.

Can't see it happening to be honest but as I said, it's not completely unreasonable ...
 
I already mentioned mkhitaryan not on two days ago. We have moved on to other targets is my opinion... we were linked to the old ee again and we will eventually be back for eriksen for 8mil.. don't you worry ;)
 
4 players signed already. Can't complain with that, all of a decent quality but time will tell if they succeed. I'll be honest, I find it really hard to get exited over new signings because of recent years, especially last Summer. Will just have to wait and see how it all pans out. I'd still love to see Mkhitaryan come in, and I still expect another CB to be bought in too, I hear we signed Canos too yesterday for the youth team?

It seems to have all died down on the Papa rumours which is a shame, it's still early but it would be great business to get him in. Him and Ryan would be two players who come in to the first team straight away which is what we need. Still have a sneaky feeling Suarez will stay too, but I expect rumours to step up in the coming weeks now they've appointed a mananger.
