Federer at his best Nadal could only beat him on clay.

But yet Federer at his best (or in any time) has only ever beaten Nadal on Grass GS <doh>
they never meet on hard courts during Federer peak Nadal alway got knocked out before they could meet each other. Federer US open record is almost as good as his Wimbledon record.

Nadal doesn't lose unless injured or tanking. Wimbledon 2011 is the last time.

Laura Robson playing Maria Kirilenko... Beautiful.... tennis... Beautiful tennis.. yes...

I'm all for Brits going through but if Kirilenko goes through I wouldn't be too upset! She's an absolute darling

Nadal is out! 3-0 as well!

Hard too see Nadal winning another slam outside of the French Open his body isnt up to it these days he has fallen behind both Djokovic and Murray on both Hard Court and Grass wouldnt be surprised if he missed the U.S Open again this year and the Aussie Open next year to be at his best for the French .

If his body wasn't up to it how would he be able to win the French Open? That puts more strain on your body than any other slam. The real issue with Nadal is recovery time from tournament to tournament. I don't think he has it in him to play as many tournaments as he does. He'll be fine for the US, but had to pull out of WB otherwise it's likely he'd have been out for another year again.

He spent a large amount of time out just to prepare for the French Open to get himself in the right shape alone .

well what a match that was, my Murray bet is looking more realistic by the game! Tsonga, Federer and Nadal all out.
