I do thinking watching those streams is stealing and I respect IP rights.

OTOH, here in the US I can't watch the majority of Saints games unless I pirate them. No matter how much money I pay. I can't even watch the highlights most UK outlets as they are blocked in the US. So effectively the cost to them of me watching these games is $0. So I don't feel bad about it at all.

It seems to me like if they were smart they would offer me a legal way to watch these games, perhaps on Saintsplayer and just work out who get what cut of the fee.

I pay £6 a month for access to a site that broadcasts every single prem game of the season in HD. I used to watch free streams but the pop ups and stream quality used to get on my tits.

Never regretted switching. Worth the £6 for the improved quality alone. Between my season ticket & the streming site, I barley missed a saints game last season :)

What site is it? I may invest in one for uni next year. My computer at home handles firstrow streams brilliantly but I'm not sure my laptop is up to it, I may need a good quality HD stream.

I'd also like to hear recommendations for good subscription streams, been meaning to post something for a while. I watched loads of games on first row last year, don't feel bad at all as the vast majority weren't on UK TV anyway, but would like something slightly better quality. Plus, as I use an HDMI cable to put it on the widescreen telly it's a bit of a nightmare when the porn adverts appear and the kids are watching it with me ...

I find it tough to relax and enjoy a game knowing saints are playing at the same time.

I can understand that but then there's the added excitement and anticipation of not knowing what's going on with Saints, then you can go in at half time and find out the current scores. Then at the final whistle you can go into the club house and watch in anticipation as the scores come in! It's pretty exciting! :D

That's pretty good, I wouldn't mind something like that. But for League 2, that's pretty much an impossibility methinks.

I think someone on here recommended premieradlive and I may give that a try next year.

I used plus1hd a couple of times and it was very good. I'm not sure if it's better than premieradlive or not?

I used premieradlive has a new name now and don't think there taking new subscribers as they got a lot of hassle during end of season from people trying to close them.

Yes, I posted the link on here to their new address after it changed and within minutes they emailed me to ask me to delete it. That was a bit scary!

They have it because I'm a subscriber. What's scary is that they knew I'd posted the link on here.

We are being watched.

Ah...do you use the same login name for their site then? Their are a lot of services you can subscribe to that will send you a notification any time a certain phrase is typed anywhere on the Internet, that will be how they found it.

Care to enlighten us. At the moment you risk sounding a bit smug.

Apologies if I sounded smug, just didn't want to litter the thread with technical jargon at the risk of boring people.

Personally I use a combination of Sopcast or TorrentStream rather than streaming straight from a flash player on a website littered with ads.

wiziwig.tv tends to list at least one stream for these applications (that are free to download) and the quality is much better.

That would explain it then, thanks. Yes, I tend to use the same user name for a few different things, mainly because I couldn't otherwise remember who I'm supposed to be!

I could be wrong though, see that mirror in your room? Its got cameras behind it, give them a wave!

At the risk of sounding like a technophobe, but isn't torrenting opening up an increased risk of viruses (and I know I probably sound like my mum when I say that...)

It's all the same risk, really. You are allowing sites to stream data to your computer and a virus can be embedded in that data-- either via the coding in the webpage and/or the coding of the stream.
