He won't replace Cork, he'll replace Davis. If Ramirez improves then he will replace Cork. Schneiderlin, Ramirez, Cork and Davis together contributed just 12 goals - Wanyama got 9 by himself, albeit in a worse league.

So we will play 3 defensive midfielders in our starting team?He won't replace Cork, he'll replace Davis. If Ramirez improves then he will replace Cork. Schneiderlin, Ramirez, Cork and Davis together contributed just 12 goals - Wanyama got 9 by himself, albeit in a worse league.
We could do, I don't know that much about Wanyama but if Davis is classed and can play as an attacking midfielder then Wanyama should be able to play that role too - he's outscored Davis' goal tallies in the SPL. Ramirez should establish himself this season, anyway. 4-3-3 is also an option. So we will play 3 defensive midfielders in our starting team?

He's not here to replace Cork; he's here to be part of an ever improving squad. Have some of us forgotten our friend Mr Adkins' words saying it is about the squad, not the 11. We MUST improve the squad and that will include players competing with our existing heroes. Anyone not wanting this to happen has not the same ambition as the club now. We can't keep the same squad as its not good enough and if you stand still, you end up going backwards. Cork will be fine. He may end up playing less games; he may end up forming a frightening partnership with Victor and Morgan missing out... We just don't know. I am sure though that no-one is writing cork off yet. There is nothing wrong about airflow excitement about a potential new signing.
We're gonna need good backups and subs if we want to finish top half though. I feel like I may have mentioned this before.
Really? I thought we should keep just to having Morgan and Cork and no one else would be better?.....(not being sarcastic at you btw)
Should we all pretend he's literally the best player in the world? People get far too sentimental.

If we sign Wagamama I wonder if he could play alongside Chumbawumba.
I know you mean well, but that is quite patronising. There are some good points being made about how we think potential signings might fit in with the current squad and I think it's you that's missing the point.
If people feel we shouldn't allow new players into the side - be it through sentimentality or mislaid importance on "how people will fit in the team" then how can we expect to improve? The argument of "people can't wait to drop Cork" hints at sentiment rather than tactics to me.
Again, it's you that's missing the point, plus your post before this one is even more patronising than the first. It's nowhere as simple as "wanyama in, drop cork" and you're the only one that's pretending it is.
By assuming that I see it that way, aren't you missing the point more than I am? I've never said anything of the sort. Also if you're trying to give a lesson on not being patronising then you're not doing a great job.
Don't be so belligerent - you're not immune from being disagreed with. Your post is the internet equivalent of "no I'm not you are".
