It won't take experienced PL players and managers long to work out that Quinn only has a left foot and just turns in circles

Koren will probably play the role of being an influencing, experienced head to help keep the younger players in the correct mindset whether he's on the field or not. I think it's important we keep him at the Club because experience is needed to establish ourselves as a Premier League Club. IMO, Koren should only be used in home games where he would be expected to have more time on the ball, but I'd much rather use Quinn and/or Meyler. Even Cairney is a much better player in the Premier League. Though Koren seemed to drift in and out of games regularly (consistently inconsistent <ok>), he still had that knack of winning a game from nothing with either a sublime pass through the defence or a 25/30 yard belter.

He's definitely not the sort of player to be guaranteed a first team spot every match, and quite rightly so, but he definitely still has a part to play at Hull City.

    Best passer in our midfield.

He will play a very large part next season.

This is almost exactly what I was thinking in my post but I got nowhere near this level of detail!

I think it's a really difficult one. When he plays well he's fantastic, some of the passes he made last season were incredible, completely changed game and created chances for us. If he could do that all the time he'd never have been playing in the Championship, he'd be at a much higher level. He does sometimes spend whole games doing very little, but at times the bit of class that comes up makes it all worth it. If we can get someone to play that kind of role that drifts in and out less then I can't imagine he'll start very often, but if not then he'll definitely still be an important part of the team. IMO.

Unless we sell him (I hope we dont). I like Proschwitz and hope he stays, you never know he could be our Michu/Benteke surprise of the season

Can only admire the optimism, but I'd be surprised if he got more than 5 (if he's still here) never mind the 18 and 19 Benteke and Michu scored respectively.

SB said that it may take him a coupla seasons to bed in.
Just cos he hasn't hit the ground running, I reckon he will be used off the bench, moreso than RoKo.

Some people think Pro will do better in the PL as he will have more time on the ball. Time on the ball seemed to be his biggest issue.

Koren will score a few goals in the PL of that i have no doubt. Some i suspect will be game winners off the bench.

The thing is, everyone's talked about what Koren can/does/doesn't do with the ball, but the harsh reality of life as a smaller club in the Premier League is spending a lot of time without the ball, chasing shadows. We know Meyler and Quinn can and will do that (for 90 minutes in Quinn's case, slightly less with Meyler as he is so keen he runs out of puff too early). Picking Koren as one of a midfield trio (or even duo) reduces our harrying capabilities.

If Bruce sticks to the same general formation, Koren is unlikely to get a look in in the support striker role, with Aluko there and Boyd pushing for game time.

I've no doubt Koren will play a role next season, and he may even lead the team out on day one at Stamford Bridge, but I don't expect he'll be a regular starter throughout the campaign.
