Graham Carr is considering his options at Newcastle, I think he'd be an awesome fit in our transfer commitee

    Thoughts?

Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye, Sylvain Marveaux, Papiss Cissé and Cheick Tioté (shamelessly stolen from Wikipedia) to name a few

    Lets hire him to.

Carr has spotted some really decent talent for really small fees by spotting them before every one else.

LFC TV could do with some more glamour... FSG would also be interested as we could appeal to a key demographic... or whatever those network execs call it

He's good at persuading them to come as well.

"If you don't come, I will get my son to **** you." <ok>

Only 'hidden gem' Carr found was Ba imo. All the others were well known (at least in their respective leagues) but avoided by most teams. He persuaded Newcastle to gamble on them - which paid off last season with a fluke run of no injuries (hence 5th) but now they're struggling and failing.

Carr is massively overrated...and our lot seem to be on the ball so far

  13. Ba was known too, no one wanted to take a risk because of his knee. It was only ever going to be a free transfer anywhere or a 'moneybags' club that doesn't care about insurance.

Even worse then! Carr found no one but a bunch of attitude ridden or injury prone players who everyone else avoided (but they were cheap, so high five!). <doh>

Don't rate him in the slightest. We should sign his son though <ok> LFCtv would be much more interesting
