Yes, we've strengthened the front line but I also think it shows the over expectation placed on the lads shoulders last year too. He was chucked in the deep end at the start of the season and despite a respectable early effort, he sank. That doesn't mean he won't come good in the future, he just needs more time. However, I'm still not convinced he will be anything more than another SWP, Aaron Lennon or Theo Walcott; lots of pace which he can beat a man with and be a world beater on his day but that day only appears on rare occasions.
I think Ibe is a better all round player and I rate Suso over Sterling also. Sterling'll be a great squad player though as a pacey wide man. Walcott II

I've not seen much of Ibe but I was very impressed watching his debut! Certainly made a better impression on me than Sterling did. I really rate Suso's abilities but question his mental belief. I really want to see him loaned to another Premier League side who is willing to give him a run at AM. Will he get it though?

Maybe we could loan some of our youth to Everton, might help them out a bit <whistle>

Apparently he's one of those awkward characters who's not owned solely by his club. Read something about his rights being partly owned by some kind of syndicate akin to when Tevez first came to England.

If that's the case, the private owner may have been approached first, before doing the deal with the club. You'd imagine the club would be the easier to deal with, hence approaching them second.

I read that too, someone posted it earlier I think.

Nothing's ever easy for us is it? <laugh>

Can't say I care if there is a third party owner, we got through it with Mascherano so I'm sure we can do it again. If not, move on to the next target <ok>

Bit late for you mate, think its about time you got to bed gramps.

:)<ok>

You don't need to use pictures, you can talk now, I won't correct you anymore <laugh>

You there; **** off. And when you get there, **** off from there too. Then **** off some more. Keep ****ing off until you get back here. Then **** off again.

That better? <whistle>

Umm no, in the picture, they use a colon after the 'You there' part, and instead of using a colon, you use a semicolon.

Sweet Jesus. <doh>

In terms of DM, I hear we are interested in a Brazillian youngster called Biteco? Looks promising. Will we have the best u21 team in the world??

Maybe he will be shoehorned into an attacking midfielder. <yikes>

Funny you say that - because Biteco does have good pace and drive, and is able to run with the ball ala Gerrard style - sort of similar to Ramires. Full of energy and very strong.
