I never mentioned title stripping, nor was that what I meant. I was talking about the SFA ignoring their own rules and letting a New club into the league without following the proper procedures. If LNS said Rangers were the "Same" club and not a "New" club then that helped the SFA avoid answering a lot of difficult questions.

I never said you did, I just pointed out something which seemed to show that they weren't necessarily keen on them being found not guilty etc.

You think it was rigged?

Nimmo smith never said they were the same club. In fact his report stated that "Rangers FC ceased to be a Club as defined in the Rules, and is accordingly not subject to the jurisdiction of the SPL"

I never said that at all, I personally don't care if it was rigged or not ( i don't think it was incidentally), all I am saying is that the result suited the SFA in the end.

He may well have said that eric but that's not the way the SFA or anyone else treated the findings.

I don't think Walter Smith and Richard Gough are Celtic fans.

It's actually rangers fans who are desperate to convince everyone else it's the same club. Although I think they are struggling to convince themselves as the truth is something they just don't want to contemplate.

The only people stating its a new club are Celtic fans grasping at straws. I'm honestly surprised how much you daft ****s care.

Yeah the whole "No to Newco" was all pressure from Celtic fans <doh>

No to Newco ? Is that the online petition that was signed by over 150 000 people ?

Since thats 60 to 70 thousand more fans that turn up to games in any given week in Scottish football it would be interesting to know who those "fans" were .

Just weeks later, the ASA launched a probe after receiving 78 complaints from rival fans.

RANGERS really ARE Scotland’s most successful football club, ad watchdogs have ruled.
The Ibrox outfit sparked a string of complaints when they made the boast in commercials three months ago.

Critics claimed the slogan was misleading because oldco Gers — who won 114 trophies — went into liquidation last year. But a leaked decision by the Advertising Standards Authority said consumers would realise the claim “related to the club rather than to its owner and operator”.

It added: “We therefore concluded that it was not misleading for this ad to make reference to RFC’s history.”

The commercials trumpeting the Light Blues as “Scotland’s most successful club” appeared on radio and in the Press ahead of their home match with Annan Athletic in March.

"Scotlands most successful club" on the day they lose 2 - 1 to Annan Athletic. <rofl>
