Newcastle United Managing Director, Derek Llambias, has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
Llambias said: âI have had an incredible journey during my five years at the club, including some challenging times. I will reflect with great fondness on my time in the North East and, in me, Newcastle United have a lifelong supporter.
âI want to thank the staff for their hard work, our fans for their support of the club, and wish them all well for the future.â

The dominoes have started to fall, David err.....Dave Lambeze has left the club.
Thoughts?
Personally I'm feeling indifferent about this. Our club has already been made into a laughing stock and this move right now just means that effectively JFK is now a significant part of the powers that be for us, for better or for worse.
Will Llambias leaving ultimately be the lesser of two evils for us? Only time will tell..
