I have just sat down and listened to the Joe Kinnear interview from Talksport, Jesus wept, just makes you realise how lucky we are to have a group in charge all pulling in the same direction:-

"I'm going to have a sit down with Alan over lunch tomorrow and decide what we want to do next season" - It's nearly July Joe you twerp, you can't sit down over a Big Mac and hash together a plan to sort the club out in an afternoon.

"I'll ask Alan if he's seen anyone good, and I'll tell him if I've seen someone better" - sounds scientific, how can it fail.

Just sounds awful a club allowing an idiot to air his half arsed views on Britain's most terrible sports radio station.

"I can open a door to any football manager in the world...anyone...that's the difference. I spend my whole life picking up the phone talking to Alex Ferguson...week in week out...what would you do, what would you do, what would you do? I can pick up the phone any time of day and speak to Arsene Wenger, I can pick up the phone and talk to any manager in the league." - Joe...what the **** are you talking about?

He is seriously ****ed up.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Pardew walk now, how on earth can you be expected to work with that ****wit. I half suspect that was the reason he brought Kinnear in, as he knew Pardew would throw a strop and leave without them having to pay his contract up.

Has Kinnear actually been confirmed yet? Didn't think he had.

Joe on keeping the strong hand in transfer negotiations "we'll discuss what's desperate, in my opinion we need a striker, and I see that desperate" - every club dealing with Newcastle swiftly bung a zero on the end of their Striker's transfer fee.

When you hear stories of the way things are done at Saints you just tend to believe that that is the way all Premier League teams go about their business, now I'm not so sure. I've now got an unshakeable image of Joe Kinnear sat in a greasy spoon cafe eating his breakfast poring over the pages of FourFourTwo magazine, wiping his spilt brown sauce off the greasy pages whilst shouting instructions down his ancient Nokia at gleeful agents.

I reckon they could spend a fortune on Andy Carroll, and then do nothing else.

Old but good.......
