Short price Trixie for me tomorrow. 2.50 Salisbury Asian Trader 2/1 4.00 Salisbury Professor 6/4 5.15 Donny Bassara 13/8. Good luck all.
I do think you have a good chance with your Tixie SMP. I have looked quite closely at the first two races however and I feel although your two selections are and should be favourites each of thise races throws up a much better priced outsider which could show a better return each way. Salisbury 2.50 Top Cop 12-1 Showing decent form and been running in reasonable races which suggest the stable feel better than he has showed, worth a shot at such a generous price. 4.00 Justineo 16-1 I remain convinced of two things with regard this horse, firstly that he has a decent race in him and secondly it will be over 6f. The 5f of his last race was always going to be too short and I feel 7f stretches him, but 6f tomorrow should be perfect. Professor should win but I would rather take 16-1 each way than 6-4 to win with regard those two. Professor is also taking on older horses this time and there are probably 3 or 4 in the race that could turn him over, so rightly the favourite but a poor value one in my book.
250 salisbury is obviously taken everyones eye it doesn't really hold any value for me I just cant see asian trader getting beat and at 2/1 the best I could do with that is put a small accumilator on with the three I think may go well at decent odds two of which I wont mention now as they have both been nibbled at already I managed to get 5s and 6s but they are both 4s and lower now I am not mentioning them yet because if they go back out I am willing to go back in ! The other I took 12s ew thismorning and I posted it up yesterday it was withdrew late as I feel they fancied this race better 10s were still available when I last looked which still smacks of value azrael 515 don I am feeling very confident today considering it is another poor lineup that confident I have placed structured doubles and trebles fingers crossed cracker will be booming good luck all
Morning all! Uncle, am completely out of breath reading your post, but will have a bash too. Good luck!
Happy Fathers Day! 2 selections for me today 16.00 Salisbury- Hallelujah 4/1 e/w This a step up class for this lightly raced mare, and is up against some more up and coming 3 yo's but she is more than capable of holding her own in listed company! She won very impressively at Newbury Lto in handicap company. Her 1st taste of listed company last year she came a credible 5th, but she is lightly raced, gaining experience with every run and will love the ground tomorrow and at 4/1 there definite an e/w value in that price. 16.20 Cork- Princess Highway- 11/4 Dermot Weld has a great record in this race with three of the last four winners of this contest. Today he runs the highly talented Princess Highway, she made a pleasing return to action when third in Group 3 company at Naas last month and would have only come on for that race. She is back to optimum trip and last years ribblesdale winner will take all the beating!
Thanks Wooly, haven't heard from my daughter yet! 14:45 Chantilly (Prix de Diane Longines - Fillies' Group 1) - Pearlside e/w (On breeding distance and ground perfect, so sporting e/w bet at around 14/1 or more at SP? Sire a great galloper, and there's enough stamina on the dam side to see this trip out. Would not put anyone off backing Tasaday, who might do better ridden with more restraint than LTO, and might therefore finish closer to the two who beat her then. Breeding on dam side questionable with this one though?). GL all today!
Well I had an argument with the missus this morning and shes gone out with my son!! I did tell her its not mothers day! lol
Just the 1 today for me, had it in my tracker and won a massive gamble from 18s > 5s LTO on handicap debut. 3.35 Doncaster - Rutherglen Currently 5/1
Wooly: Well, it's not Dads Day here apparently, so I'll let my girl off! Many years ago I said to the missus "Happy Mothers Day". She responded with "...I'm not your mother", so I say bugger all nowadays! UncleCracker: God no, was just average at school in our language! Did enjoy literature though, and history. Maths made me ill...still does! Here's to Azrael
Was on this myself this morning but the ground is a concern now and will go to heavy after the first race or two. It should be right up Maarek's street though so putting him in a shorties double with Proffesor over at Salisbury.
Justineo is now out to 20-1 in the next at Salisbury. This is a great each way price in a nine runner field against a hot favourite that should win but is taking on older horses for the first time.
