My lack of official qualifications is now an asset - almost every interview I go to the interviewer is interested in how I know a few programming languages without having been taught in a school. Makes me look like a naturally clever individual, rather than being one of these trained BSc monkeys (well this is how I make myself feel better about my under achievements anyway)
Maybe ML should pack in his training and impress potential employers by being a self-taught surgeon?
