Nothing wrong with him wanting to play, every footballer wants to play ... but yes, he does need to go this summer, along with at least 10 others.

Liverpool fans seem increasingly confident that they'll sign Mkhchu, so he'll be our next addition. Great future signing, that one.

Not saying there is anything wrong with wanting to play. The thing that is wrong is him not playing and getting 18k a week. :p

That's a funny nickname. Yeah, he's going to tear this league up.

Well, I did kinda assume that's what you meant ... haha

But I agree about those wages, extortionate amount of money on a weekly basis to a player who didnt even manage half a game football in over a year for us.

I know he's already been released, but Frazer Richardson is off to Wolves apparently, Danny Butterfield is off to Yeovil, & Ben Reeves has held talks with Brizzle City

Do you think he'll contribute from the start? Personally think he's a cracking player but not certain he'll take the step up immediately in his stride, I mean he had a great season but realistically the Ukrainian league is pretty dire overall. Best comparison in terms of level is the Champions League where he's managed 2 goals in his 21 games, not particularly electric.

Crikey, no disrespect to Wolves, who find themselves in League One, but surely Frazer can command a place in a Championship team..? Danny and Ben could be off to good clubs for their time in their careers.

Problem with Richardson is his injury concerns.

So the rumour Butterfield was becoming a coach was untrue?

He won't score for fun like he did over there, but he is a midfielder after all. As of the time Shakhtar were eliminated from the Champions League, he'd travelled a greater distance than any other player in the competition. He also wasn't subbed once all season in all competitions. Defensively he's very good, and he actually used to be a defensive midfielder. Expect to see him tracking back and trying to dominate the middle of the pitch and then exploding forward on the break because his pace is extraordinary. He's also two-footed and intelligent.

I guess he can, i don't know. Ok, maybe i was a bit harsh on him because i was trying to make a point. The problem with Lovren is that he is prone to errors; he makes silly mistakes too often. He can be impressive for 89 minutes, then single-handedly ruin the game. If he could eliminate those mistake, lapses in concentration, then even I would say - let's buy this guy, he is a great CB. He can be great when on top of his game, but who can guarantee that he will suddenly become completly focused? It seems a gamble to me.

And people here play too much FM. Lovren can't play niether left nor right back, nor he can play as a defensive midfielder.

That's a good little signing for Yeovil if it comes off.

Not DM at all? I wasn't expecting him to be able to play like Cork or Schneiderlin and help much in retaining possession or starting attacks. Just more as an anchor/holding type of guy. Sit in front of the CB's and help break up attacks for those games in which we can't press like we want. Wouldn't have to do too much speedy running or covering distance or much ball handling.

The old ownership of Belgo bought my old restaurant in London, one guy was nice but you could not meet a bigger arsehole than the other one, stuckup twat- richer than god though.
