Seems the chief pedant doesn't like being on the other end of pedantry.

I'd ask you to explain your "staggering levels of paranoia" but you don't tend to back up your accusations, plus you're taking AP's advice, how'd that work out for you?

The head of year had to call to my house and drag me into school to sit my first GCSE test, I was a right stupid ****er - genuinely not caring about gaining absolutely no qualifications.

In the end I got one A, three B's and six C's. Didn't fail a single test and I've no idea how, I didn't even do half the coursework and still managed to get C's on those exams. The school stipulated that you needed a minimum of six C's to get back in for A-Levels, yet they rejected my application to go back. I think it had something to do with me not actually attending school for about the last 6 months of 5th year and being a right wee bastard to all the teachers.

How'd we manage to turn this rather cruel gloat thread into a brag about educational results anyway?

Not my fault, mine were simply "off the radar" initially. As I may have mentioned 3 times.

It might be obvious, but I don't have any qualifications in computing. <ok>

My lack of official qualifications is now an asset - almost every interview I go to the interviewer is interested in how I know a few programming languages without having been taught in a school. Makes me look like a naturally clever individual, rather than being one of these trained BSc monkeys (well this is how I make myself feel better about my under achievements anyway <whistle>)
