Read it and weep

We play in the best league in the world watched by 5 billion weekly, you play in some backwater mini league watched by a few hundred thousand so yes I think he would be interested.

You're a ****ing moron. It says the total global audience for a WHOLE SEASON was 4.7billion. You claimed 5 billion watched EVERY week. <laugh><laugh><laugh><doh>

Pud no need to have a minority complex <laugh>

Bid was rejected anyway

Id say lower £5 million are could be enough, how does it feel you could lose your star forward to a small team like hull city?

And for what it's worth id love celtic in the epl even though i cant stand ya ****ers

Don't tell me you're after Samaras too? <yikes><whistle>

If you carried on reading further down you would have seen that I corrected it from weekly to annually

You might get away with mistakes like that in the Championship but when you are messing with the elite of the Champions League there is no margin for error.

£5m will probably do it...Pistol Pete will probably want a sell on clause as well. No problem with Hooper wanting to move...He wants to go to EPL to get into England team. He better hope that he takes a step up after a season to a bigger EPL team then as he'll not make England team playing at Hull City...

A no mark club from a no mark city thinking they are the dogs balls 'cos they are going to spend a season getting skelped in the EPL.

Mark my words, when the bubble bursts in England, and it will, Celtic will still be a huge club with a worldwide fanbase and Hull City will still be Hull City <ok>

Has anything of note ever happened in Hull btw?

I've mentioned before I know our captains best pal ,he was saying on cup final day , Celtic players got 12 grand bonus for winning spl , he remain friends with Whittaker and Caldwell whose bonus for saving relegation at Norwich was 300 grand a man , Wigan 400 grand a man

A record minimum temperature of −11.1 °C was recorded during January 1982 ... and I'll also have you know that the city is unique in the UK in having had a municipally owned telephone system from 1902, sporting cream, not red, telephone boxes.

5 million will be enough to see hooper away i would have thought. will he double his wage by joining hull? for many footballers money is everything, I wouldnt be surprised though if when many of them retire they regret the choices they made all to chase a few extra quid.

good luck to him but i fear he will become a striker who joins a different relegation fodder team every year.

Please do not confuse the way we speak in Ull with that of the White ****e area of Yorkshire ie West Yorks.Hull is in the East Yorkshire area.
Followed City for many years and we have always promised but never delivered till recently, we made big mistakes last time and hopefully we will become established.
Everyone has to start somewhere, but anyway I personally have nothing against Celtic some friends of mine over here are Celtic,.mine is a Catholic family. We are just pushing ourselves forward and we will get knockbacks.
You may not know or want to know anything about Hull and its people but we are resilient ,proud of our City and I think Bertie Aulds remarks the other week about Hull being a fishing port needs to be looked at as it no longer exists due to the Common Market etc, I voted against joining in 74. Hull people are a bit like Scotland ,independent people.
Anyway best of luck for next season and whatever happens happens .You never know one day we might play each other

Also, just a little point about Aluko, isn't it a little silly you trying to belittle him when he skipped past almost half your team before scoring in the Old Firm over a year ago and he's now progressed further. Regardless of what you may think, I can tell you Aluko is a fine player, don't let his Rangers ties cloud your judgement.

Unless you expect us to never concede a goal, then we can expect deeply average players to score against Celtic every season in the SPL.

You seem to forget that he was an SPL player for 4 seasons not just for one decent game in a Glasgow derby. Put it this way, Aluko waltzing past our defence wasn't a regular occurence in those 4 years. He played in an Aberdeen team that lost 9-0 at Celtic Park ffs. We've seen a lot of him. He had a purple patch when at Rangers, and he's clearly got some skill, and he may even have improved, but some of your fans were claiming he was the SPL's best player.

He really, really wasn't.

A paupers Paddy McCourt who could have signed for anyone in the world when his old club ceased to operate and he ended up at...... Hull.
