Most of the teams in the premier league are pretty average and just because the league generates money (the league, i mean the top 4), people believe it's great.

City aren't world beaters just because we've got promoted.

As a whole it's pretty ****e- the better teams get away with anything, and there's only ever a winner of a trophy from a side outside of the top 4, once in a blue moon.

The Premier League are also screwing over the youngsters from this country looking at buying foreigners. And if they do buy British lads it's a last resort and for ridiculous money.

SPL is ****e as well.

£4m+ is a risk for City. Don't want to over do it and pay the price later.

I don't want Elmander here either. He's ****.

So you reckon the likes of Huddersfield and Barnsley would beat Barcelona, Benfica and Spartak Moscow?

<laugh>

Seriously man, stay away from the drugs <ok>

Apologies if the point has already been made as I am only on p5.

No they wouldn't beat them but they would have a better chance than any other team in the SPL than Celtic.

Your argument is silly, Celtic do not represent the league as a whole and it's a comparison of leagues not a comparison of one team against the Champ. IMHO Celtic would do well in the Champ. but the rest would occupy the bottom positions and get relegated three by three.

The question is, will we go back with another offer?
Was the low offer made to get our name linked with another striker??
We could have other striking targets, if we are linked with the right players it could help other deals to be finalised.

Agree with this.

I think either Austin or Rhodes deals being done in the background and this is Hooper business is to distract other clubs.
