Most seem to be ****in clueless when it comes to football!

Last 2 years it's was Southampton fans, now it's Hull City fans!

5 billion people watch the EPL though Pudwise.

Ghosts, horses and bad intentions watch the EPL, that's how good it is.

Watching Reading play Southampton really is the pinnacle of football.

<laugh> I lasted until 4 or 5 posts in to page 3 of the Hooper thread on the Hull board. It's 9 pages long <doh>

The most annoying part for me isn't what they think Hooper's worth, or that Celtic and the SPL are mince, or even that we're the equivalent of a "mid-table Championship side".

It's that these ****s still think the EPL is THE league to watch, get excited over and fawn about, even when United had it won in February and by the last day the only ****ing excitement was who would finish 4th <doh>

Some spastic used how many CL spots it gets as justification the SPL was pish <ok>

Even though they know any newly promoted side is odds on to get their arses reamed on a weekly basis and go straight down again. That must be absolutely fantastic <ok>
 
The fact of the matter is that now hull are in the epl, we are now a more attractive club to play for than celtic and a i believe a better team too (just).
Gary Hooper is not a proven player. Has done very well for you and scunthorpe, but moving from the championship to the spl tells nothing as it more or less the same standard.
Playing for celtic does not prove you as a player. Playing against pub teams for 80% of the season and then OCCASIONALLY doing ok in the champions league (i.e winning 3/4 games against established opponents) is merely the same as a championship team having a decent cup run in the FA/League cup which we see year in year out.
