Echo linking us to Creswell. Seen a fair bit of him - very consistent but also very average and really no better than Harding. Better than fox though! Shaw and targett probably mean we don't need him? !

Do we really want Astori?
http://www.whoscored.com/Blog/i8p0b6r00u69gbekopyj6g/Show/Player-Focus-Error-Prone-Outfielders Him & Hooiveld are the top 2 error-prone players in Europe apparently.
Apart from most of Astori's errors was in one game but Hooiveld's was over the season.
It was only half way through the season, too.
I think I'm probably alone in feeling that we need to sign a left back to compete with Luke and possibly even as a first choice, preferably one at the later stages of their career. I do completely apppreciate Luke's potential and he is already a formidable player. But he only broke into the side last year as a result of desparation, we should never have been playing him that much at this stage in his career, and the constant niggles he picked indicate that the games were sriously taking their toll. If we aren't careful, we could ruin his potential.
I would still expect Luke to get plenty of game time but I think we definetely need another quality option in that position.
Really interesting article about Michael Owen playing too much too young. Very significant in terms of Luke Shaw and possibly needing another left back. I'm not sure where I stand on this issue to be honest.
