Redlands City, just south of Brisbane
Just watched Australia f**k Jordan (not literally of course). Big win 4-0 but not really impressed. They have to beat Iraq next week in Sydney to qualify which they should do, but on the evidence of last night, I really can't see them progressing in the cup in Brazil. Cahill played his usualy top game, and Schwartzer wasn't much troubled all evening, but it was sad to see them playing in a side that is barely Div one. Not confident, boys, not confident.

Be a shame if the convicts don't make it brissy along with their two impeding Ashes defeats this year! <whistle>

I will never, never support Australia in cricket, been a pom far too long for that (and anyway, they're bunch of arrogant bastards, who act like spoilt children if they lose, its always someone elses fault) but I do like to see the soccer team do well. They try hard and don't have a great deal of support in this country, 'specially in the sponsorship department. They have to try to survive in a country that is bound to Rugby League, Union, and that other stupid game they play in Victoria, Aussie no-Rules. But, to be honest, they just don't have the reserve of players at the moment, not like a few years ago WHEN WE BEAT THE POMS 4-2 and I was in the old Gloucester Arms on Rolls Road...........whoopee!!! <cheers>

I here one of their players over here has a pretty decent right hook, put one on joe root in a club and has been suspended for the one day game today:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Bit disappointed he would resort to that to try and get a ban and avoid the humiliation coming up in the Ashes

England home & away for me lads all day long

I understand they've brought forward the away Ashes series because the convicts are hosting the World ODI cup in 2014/15 which is when the Ashes would have been held there otherwise so they can't stage both together near the same time as it won't fit into the calendar. <ok>

At least the replica Ashes urn will be travelling back to England a year earlier! <whistle>

Can't see why not, our calander is bigger than yours. Yours only goes from March to May and June to August (if you're lucky).
