So I hear, I'd probably love them if I played them but I've never seen anything from either that made them looking enticing or even interesting to me. I'd be very willing to try out Kingdom Hearts but Final Fantasy I just wouldn't know where to begin, I kind of view it as those ships have sailed for me, I'm not going to jump off the dock and try and swim after them.

Oof, missing out on Final Fantasy is a big one. A particularly geeky venture I was happy to enjoy when I was younger, and I still replay them now.

I played like the first disc of FF8, it took forever. Never felt like I was getting it.... I don't think I'm hardcore enough.

I beat Omega Weapon on FF8 a few weeks ago. Felt like I'd finally completed my childhood.

    It gave me this:

One of my favourite moments was beating Ruby and Emerald on 7, did it about a year ago.

I never had 7, but recently bought it on the PS Store. Haven't got around to playing it yet.

It's amazing, devote some time to it, you really won't regret it. Unless I only think of it so fondly because of sentimental value... whatever.

Well if I enjoy it anywhere near as much as I enjoyed 8 and 9 (and even 10 to a degree) then it should be pretty great. It's hard to get used to the graphics now though.

The thing that annoys me is the fact that you can only save in certain locations.

And the lack of trophies :(

It's a lot better than 10. And yeah, I found that when I tried playing the Pre-7 games, I think 2D to 3D is my emotional cut-off. Except for like, The Walking Dead style 2D-ish.

The Galaxy S2 arrived early this morning, and typically, I missed it by 8 minutes, so the card came through the door. But I managed to pick it up late in the afternoon, so all is OK. Just got the evening's stuff out of the way and the SIM and battery are in, and I'm reading the instructions while it's charging. Has anyone got any stand-out dos and don'ts..? I've bought a red wallet, screen protector, stylus etc... for £1.99 on ebay, so I'm off to a flyer so far.

Nothing I've ever played has been comparable to Pokemon games on the Gameboy. Naming your enemy 'Dick', wasting the Master Ball on the Snorlax when all you needed was that flute thing, and having to reluctantly massacre many a Zubat and Geodude whenever you had to explore a cave are just some of the wonderful things I did on that game.
