Not sure why we are so eager to keep him, the last couple of games he played for Stoke were rubbish. I lost count on how many times he gave the ball away. I think he has the wrong attitude and is passed it.
I would rather have him in the squad than not given that he will not cost us anything. Take into account that we played most games last season with no wingers and no width, if Pennant goes, Kightly obviously isn't good enough and Ethrington appears to be unfit and past it - where does that leave us? Looking for 3 wingers at roughly 15-18 million!
