My Swedish link is a fairly obscure one, DJ Shadow;

I worked in Sweden for 6 months in '97 with a few lads and 2 of them were Geordies who played this album constantly - I never listened to hip-hop until I got stoned with these lads in their hotel room. Needless to say I bought the album when I got home and the rest is history.
