Hoping we get someone easy for our first game. Liverpool at home would be great. Steve Bruce Black and Amber Army
wow another club taken in by bruce eh? 1998–1999 Sheffield United 1999–2000 Huddersfield Town 2001 Wigan Athletic 2001 Crystal Palace 2001–2007 Birmingham City 2007–2009 Wigan Athletic 2009–2011 Sunderland 2012–2013 Hull City I think a few clubs in there (i.e them all) have been fairly raging at the ****e job he did for them.. and the state they were left in... But enjoy the prem! who knows maybe the guy finally learned his lesson eh?
Our home form was not exactly great last season. To be in contention for 4th spot we need to win at least 12 games at home and 9 games away. We must not lose more than five games throughout the season.
thats pretty much it rattle... thats 63 points right there. another 7-9 in draws as well. I don't know that only losing 5 is what 4th is about. only losing 5 will get 2nd.... or there abouts. say 20-10-8 that would be a pretty good record and thats 70 points. after that its hard to say. just beat the bottom ten teams home and away and you can get there.
Members of the jury, 70 points may not be enough to secure 2nd position sometime.Sometime you could win the titile by that amount of points. Premier League winning points haul... I'm pretty sure he led Wigan to Promotion and their highest ever finish, won 2 Promotions with Birmingham and 1 with us. At Sunderland, he had a bad time with his top two strikers; Gyan and Bent. What can you do when your two goalscorers disappear? He's done a great job, we hired him with the goal to get in the Premier League within 3 years, he did it in his first.
Get the tough one's out the way before Christmas, Spurs away early, and Stoke. Would love United at home on the opening day. Then again, aslong as we they go out and do the best they can, I don't care.
Our first 10 games prediction: 1.Fulham (a) 2.Stoke City (h) 3.Westham (a) 4.Hull City (h) 5.Manchester United (a) 6.Everton(h) 7.Chelsea (a) 8.Arsenal (h) 9.Cyrstal Palace (a) 10.Manchester City (h) The fixture would officially be announced on Wednesday 19th at 9am. If the fixture is like this not bad.
Who can see the future? Predict our opening fixture and *win an Ipad. *Terms & Conditions apply. For a copy of my Terms & Conditions visit http://www.theidiotboard.com/messageboard/ I'm going for Hull at Anfield.
Opening game? Well, given that Fergie is no now selecting the first game of the season for United, they won't be getting their usual bye and gift 3 points. (that said, they screwed that up last season and donated 3 points to Fulham) And since we just don't seem to do well in the fixture selection machinery, I predict United v Liverpool...
